Dr. Cardona's Message

Dr. Tammy Cardona

As the principal of Seckman Middle School for the past 7 years, I would like to welcome you to the Seckman Middle School community. At Seckman Middle School we strive everyday to build relationships with each other and our community. In the 2017-2018 school year we welcome 789 6th, 7th and 8th grade students into our building each day. We have 44 classroom teachers, 8 building aides, 3 custodians, 1 nurse, 1.5 counselors, 1 librarian, 2 secretaries, and 4 food service workers that work tirelessly each day to meet the individual needs of our students.

As a mother of 3 grown children and a parent who has seen all 3 of her children go through Seckman Middle School and graduate from Seckman High School, I am honored to serve this community and our families by giving my best each day. It is my goal to support high levels of learning through my constant evaluation of where our students are, what can we do to support high levels of learning, and what support can we as a building give to individual students when it is needed?

I have been in education for 18 years serving as an elementary teacher at grades 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades at Antonia Elementary and serving as an administrator over the past 12 years at both the high school and middle school level.

I am honored to be a part of the Seckman Middle School community and giving MY best for YOUR best everyday.
